Sprite Backup.. Is it possible to get contacts list out of backup file?
Guys,
A friend of mine has a phone that was recently upgraded to win media 6.1. She has a backup from when her phone still had windows media 6.0 and that is the only backup of her contacts she has. I know once you upgrade to 6.1 you cannot restore from a 6.0 backup, but is it possible to take the contacts list out of the sprite backup? Thanks. I would appreciate any help anyone can give. Hmm.. I may have answered my own question. Found Sprite explorer. A free application to extract files from a sprite backup... will test and repost.

you might want to tell your friend d/l "Pimbackup" a freeware program no winmobile phone should be without, also "Dashwire" a free online service is another option for backup.
