Re: Diamond Opera v9.5 Build 1660

I have tried this version and it works great part of the time. The problem that I have is that if it ever crashes it will not reload until I soft reset. And I find it does crash more often than the offical reslease on my Bell Touch

Same problem as well on my Bell touch, try re-installing 1522 but it didn't help.

I've had this happen, though not very often. The reason it won't restart is because it's actually still running. Check "Running Programs" in the Memory application under Settings tab. You'll find Opera is still running. End the task and you can restart Opera. No soft-reset needed.

Can you folks load and navigate cnn.com with 1660? I had no problem with any other version, and this one is great most of the time, but I just can't get cnn.com to work.

Any users of the Touch(Vogue) notice in portrait mode it is zoomed in to close by default. Its only somewhat usable in landscape mode for me.

Mine is the same in landscape and portrait. You can adjust the zoom settings in opera:config under adaptive zoom . Mine is set like this Max zoom 112 , min overveiw zoom 30 , min zoom 100. The smaller the number the less zoom.

Where is this setting area for adaptive zoom?

All I see under settings is Start Page, Display, Privacy, and Advanced and none of those has a sub-category for any kind of zoom.

I dont have any problems between portrait and landscape, I just want to maybe make it so that when I double tape to zoom in, it doesnt zoom as close in as it does.

In the address bar type opera:config and that takes you to the main settings. Adaptive Zoom is the first option.
