Quote:
Also has anyone else experienced the sync option always being set to Manual? I've tried putting as items arrive but when I hit done and go back to check it defaults back to Manual. Does anyone else have this issue? |

I have only 4 contcts(1online/3offline) at msn, normally 20-30.. changed account, that madded 0 contacts, reinstalled(deleted, booted, install, booted) same thing. changed also connection to WiFi/EGDE/GPRS, none helps. Still only 4 contacts.. also tried to add already added buddy, but that gives error: There was a problem, please try again. Anyone know how to show/enable rest of contacts? maybe is issue about Scandinavian characters? äöåÄÖÅ |

I have the same issue that it goes back to Manual. My understanding is that it is set to 'As items arrive' when you set it even though it reverts back to Manual when you go into the Options page again. However if you reboot, it goes back to default setting which is Manual. My only gripe is that I get the Sign In failed message at least once a day and it totally messes up the push mail feature. I have to soft boot my 6700 to fix the issue. |

I just download this and it does freeze my wx, so what I did was remove it from the today screen and the start menu, then created a short cut with ilauncher for quick acces. no as good as the plugin but sure doesn't freeze my wx =)

I also noticed a large drain on the battery, and it took up a big chunk of program memory. I rarely use my hotmail account, but I do have a mail2web account to push gmail to my phone. One thing I really liked was the web search bar on the today screen, but there are other programs that give you that as well. It was a cool program but it wasn't worth it to me for the drain on the battery (even with the messenger not connected) and the loss of program memory. Did nobody else take a big hit to their program memory?

I'm definitely curious - someone posted how great it was but I tried the first beta already. Hoping they will have a final version out. On MS's web page they talk about the carriers providing it - with Sprint that means it won't be provided or it will be full of crapware.

I noticed a huge drain on my memory. I rarely used the messenger portion so I didn't see any substantial drain on my battery. I took it off of my 700 because it made the overall performance REALLY sluggish sometimes. I wonder if somebody out there can rip the Windows Live cab from WM6 and post it here. I loved the way that it worked but there were so many bugs
