Re: Opera 9.5 build 1004

I must be doing something wrong then. This slowed my Touch down alot. Even when the program wasn't running it seemed to slow my phone down. The browser was slow itself, and it would only allow me to input text with the small QWERTY keyboard.

Re: Opera 9.5 build 1004

alright.. well i read all of your discombobulated replies and managed to get things working.
holy crap. this is impressive and very fast compared to the last version.

still no flash. FAIL.

EDIT: is there not a one tap zoom in and out?? i like opera mini's one tap zoom in and out compared to double tapping. i hate double tapping on these squishy screens.
theres soo many effing settings!! its crazy, but good.

It's hardly Opera's fault that you don't have the Flash plugin on your phone.

No browsers have Flash built in. Adobe doesn't allow that. They require people to use their Flash SDK. (At least until recently.)

Works for other people, AFAIK. It's a leaked internal alpha build, though, ripped from some device, so it isn't strange if you are having problem on a device the build wasn't intended to run on.

Re: Opera 9.5 build 1004

How is Skyfire relevant here? I thought this was a thread about Opera.

But I guess that if you like having your personal details sold to marketers, Skyfire is right up your alley

(And the browser itself doesn't actually support Flash. Flash is interpreted by the servers which pass it on in a different format.)
