Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Hey everyone in Canada who is having trouble logging in to Sirius. I've found a workaround for now. Using SiriusWM5 doesn't work either unless you select 'use TCPMP' in the settings. I can't believe I didn't try this sooner. It's working now but Im still waiting on a solution from R-Capi. Hope this helps some of you, I know i've been jonesing for my Stern in the morning.

R-Capi,
Hopefully you can have a look at this sometime soon. One thing I noticed with your app that I would like to see changed is the position of the captcha screen. Loading up SiriusWM5 just reminded me. In your app the Captcha screen is blocked by my on screen keyboard, with SiriusWM5 they put the Captcha at the top of the screen which makes it easier to type it in. I'm wondering if you could work something in like that. Either way I love your app and can't wait to get it working again. Thanks for everything!

EDIT:Hey just another tip. If you have issues with the backlight stopping playback. In tcpmp settings under hotkeys set action button to toggle backlight. Works great!

In your settings did you set it to use TCPMP? That's the only way I got it to work. Windows media player gives me an error. Try selecting TCPMP and see if it works for you!

Too bad, setting it to use tcpmp works for me but it's a horrible solution. I find even though I am able to turn the backlight off after setting a hotkey for it, my phone still times out based on power settings and every half an hour I have to restart it.

CA, what happens when you select tcpmp? For me it launches and goes to the background, I have to minimize Siriuswm5 and bring tcpmp to the front then after about 30sec it starts playing. Try that, it might work for you too!

R-Capi is there anything that we can do to help you to help us??

While you guys wait for Capi's schedule to clear up, I would Install the Debug version and send him the log file. Here is a link to the Debug file Capi posted a while back:
