Re: ****UPDATED**** C-ApiSRO - XM & Sirius Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Yup... same issues for me too. Sprint Mogul... XM worked fine. Now... it shows it's logged in, but no station lineup. UGH!

Anyone find an easy fix yet?

R-Capi, excellent program! Worked like a charm on my PPC-6800. I recently picked up the Diamond, and when I go to log onto Sirius, the CAPTCHA box does not appear. I'll keep tinkering with things to see if I can fix it, but I just wanted to inform you of the issue (I saw it mentioned earlier in this thread too.), and would like to offer any assistance I can provide to you (logs, testing, etc).

If someone knows the IP address... Another way is to use a program like PocketHosts to manually add the entry to your PPC, bypassing any DNS server... Disadvantage of this method is if the IP address changes, you will need to manually change the hosts file again...

Re: ****UPDATED**** C-ApiSRO - XM & Sirius Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Ok, so after installing/uninstalling/resetting/repeat i have yet to get the captcha text to show unless synced to the computer(just like cal2ya, also using alltel vouge/touch) even after being synced and logging in yet to get a channel to load and play....is a headset required to hear audio? Any suggestions appreciated.

Read post #111 (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=111) and see if you can access XM's webpage using your phones web browser as explained in the "Quick Test" paragraph. Let us know if you get a page back.

Yes... I was able to open the webpage on my phone, with PIE, Opera Mini, and Skyfire.

No, a headset is not required. This definitely sounds like you are having troubles making a connection. Don't be afraid to go into settings and enable logging. Send a private message to me with the log file for me to look at.

Yeah, some I've seen aren't CAPTCHA (which, BTW is actually Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart)... they're more like CAPTCFGA... where FG is Fricking Geniuses.

As for my ongoing issues with C-ApiSRO... I'm going to give up. It's a great LOOKING app, but it's never worked for me... ever. So it doesn't meet my most basic need in an app. I hope R-Capi continues to work on it, and will check back from time to time, but for now... I'm out.

THANKS! Not sure why it's not working all of a sudden. Worked fine before, now the station list will not show up for XM. Sirius works fine...
