Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
This is what you want!!
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=115178 I have been looking for a working Sirius/Xm satellite radio player that works and I ran across this great one called SXRadio2. It also displays cover art. This app is free, of course you will need a subscription to XM or Sirius satellite radio. Very nice app!! SXRadio2 is a free subscription content player that currently supports both Sirius and XM Satellite Radio and includes all channels (Yes, even H100 and H101) available on the Sirius and XM Online subscriber sites. Features: - FREE no limits, fully functional - Supports Sirius Subscription And Guest Accounts - Supports XM Subscription And Guest Accounts - What's Playing (w/ mode selection) - Album Art - Lyrics - Twitter Integration - Presets - Standard and High Quality Streams (Defaults to standard) Attached Thumbnails Attached Files SXRadio2PPC.CAB (832.0 KB, 114 views)

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
Thanks for the Info, I loaded WM6 and it works great. Whats the advantage to SXRADIO2? The memory on this phone is very small and I had real interesting time converting videos to play well (16GB storage card) .Is there a good topic on the forum for Playing movies on the Imagio?
Thanks for the help, I'm really hooked on these thing now. NUBIE IN THE RETAIL WORLD OF WM DEVICES OLD GUY IN THE REAL WORLD (BUT STILL FAST ENOUGH) "If it Doesn't accelerate the world leave IT behind!" |

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
Buy the way sorry about the double sig, I'll get better at typing someday.
I got a great deal on the HTC Imagio phone as it came with the Driod also (a two for one deal through Verizon) but the Droid dosn't support international calling very well. Can anybody suggest a good upgrade or workaround to improve the Driod for out of country service (outside the US)? It dosen't have a SIMs card. I don't know enough about this to find a good solution. Thanks |

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
In December 2010 I downloaded SXradio 2 and it worked great for about a month or so. Then I had to do a master Reset and since then I get an error “connection failed”. I have tried to install this and other Sirius apps and get the same error. I have a touchpro 2. Any ideas???? Thanks

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
Sorry to say I found out that Sirius has nixed the third party apps. They don't currently offer an app for Windows based phones just for androids and blackberries! I have a serious complaint logged and am waiting for a response from the Sirius support center.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
I believe the problem stems from the recent Sirius/Xm site login change that happened a few weeks ago. Unless the Devs fix the code, your beat..

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
Third party apps are not supported by Sirius, they are supported by the app developer. About a year ago Sirius changed how you login into the site. Cosmetically the site looked the same but the backend changed. This broke all of the third party apps. The apps that have, or at least had at the time, an active app developer were fixed. At that time C-ApiSRO was no longer being supported by the developer and was broken. Recently, around 1-31-11 or so, Sirius merged the Sirius site with the XM site to give the same look and feel to both types of users. This change again broke all of the third party apps., and only the apps with current developers were fixed. SxRadio2 is one of the apps that I know of that is no longer supported.
As of today, SiriusWM6 is still supported for Sirius and XM logins. You can find it here. GeeksToolbox Forums Last edited by tcbusch; 02-15-2011 at 05:19 PM. |
