Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Thanks, Dave.

Still hoping that SomeGuyMMS can get some momemtum going with the source he gets from r-Capi.

I think it will be a challenge. From what I understand, the latest "security" tapdance involves switching back and forth into and out of MD5 encryption plus changing reflectors during signoff and "midstream" if you catch my drift.

Gotta love the big corporations... biting off your nose in spite of your face... I'm sure more people would be willing to pay for internet subscriptions if they would offer a free app, or just leave the ones currently working alone. They do have an app for the IPhone but you can't get Stern through it due to contractual issues (And I wouldn't dare get an IPhone anyway...) Keeping the fingers crossed for SomeguyMMS to work magic...

firstly, Ed, I want to thank you for your replies to an issue I was having. I was not getting email notification. It seems I azz-umed if the app worked on phones, it would work on my Axim as well.

as a side... does anyone know if the Yahoo SiriusTuner widget is now a dead issue?

MD5 encryption? That's easy to break nowadays with CPU power. Haha. Maybe they can work it out though so it works and Sirius/XM can agree with it.

Here's the CAB for SiriusWM6, I didn't write it, just have the cab file, but can't remember who did develop it (sorry...). It's another free app for sirius and works great.
Attached Files
File Type: cab SiriusWM6.CAB (61.5 KB, 53 views) Click for barcode!

the Sirius YahooTuner Widget still isn't working but you can use Firefox with the QuickJava plugin which will allow you to disable javascript & keep it from prompting you asking if you're still there then disconnect if you don't click the window or use the link below which was posted earlier & use the win32 ver of the app for your desktop hope we get CAPISRO back
