Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
I just uninstalled it, and installed the latest version from the website (.exe through a PC activesync). It never asked whether to install in memory or on SD card, but it now works.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
I too am having problems with SelectRadio. Download and installed it including the new .dll. First day (Wednesday) it fired right up and logged into Sirius. Last two days continually get errors saying "No Connection to stream server..." or "No login server or bad login". Of course I can use the same log in for Sirius on their website. The log in is fine. One time briefly yesterday it started and the music was playing for about 5 seconds and then it said it lost its connection. (I'm in a strong signal urban area. Good network connection.)
Reloaded it again last night and also reloaded the new tun.dll. Still no luck. So SelectRadio won't be getting my money. Any word on a C-Apisro upgrade or is there another solution? RedDawg |

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
I just got SelectRadio for free.
They have 2 options when buying it, pay $25 or complete a Trial Pay offer and get it for free. I chose the Trial Pay (I normally don't do these things but felt like a rebel this morning ) I chose the eMusic trial. You have to give them a credit card, but I have one that I never use anyway, so I gave them that. You get 7 days to download 25 songs for free and you are not charged anything if you cancel within the 7 days. I got my free code, then immediately canceled the eMusic without even downloading the free songs. I figured canceling would be a PITA, but it was simple. Sweet! |

Nevermind; how stupid of me. Just go to SelectRadio, hit purchase and there's info about it at the bottom of the page. Last edited by fredcatsmommy; 11-20-2009 at 09:52 AM. |

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
Not that this thread needs another chime in on the obvious issue at hand, but damn not only did C-ApiSRO stop working, so did the Sirius Yahoo Widget & just this morning the XM Tuner 2 Yahoo Widget. Talk about being pushed into a corner. Like Sirius/XM doesn't already get enough of my money from 2 radio & 2 online subscriptions, but now they have the balls to keep me from choosing how to listen to the radio I pay for. I figured the merger would give us a little better service but I guess not. To have to jump thru hoops just to be able to access my music anywhere is just ridiculous. There are so many apps which offer music but you pay for exclusivity but the only thing unique now is I'm paying to listen their way!

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
thanks so much for this info. I searched far and wide looking for a cure for my Howard withdrawals. I bit the bullet and purchased the program. It's a little costly and I don't like that it has to stay with the phone you registered it with (what if my phone gets washed again!) but it's a great app. I would have never known about it if it weren't for you good people.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)
Been trying all day to listen to the XM side which appears to be now infected with the changes that happened to the Sirius side too. If anyone is using the selectradio program can confirm that XM is working with it I'm not able to check for myself until later today.
Appears it's effecting Yahoo widget as well, great job Mel your certainly looking out for your customers and showing them on how to save money by leaving your butchered service. (had to get that off my chest, calming down now ) New Info: It appears XM has taken down the online service for an "Upgrade" and will last anywhere between 12 to 24 hours, thanks for letting your paying customers know about theses things Last edited by mrbook; 11-20-2009 at 03:28 PM.
