Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Has anybody been able to get Sirius to play on Skyfire on the TP2? I'm assuming we're supposed to go to the website as if we were on a PC, yes? I've logged in, chosen a channel, but nothing plays...

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

It is kind of a pain. I have the HTC Fuze on AT&T with Skyfire. It took me a couple of logins to get it to work. First login same experience as you so I closed Skyfire and tried again. It worked this time. You should see a speaker icon come up before you hear anything. That allows you to mute if you want. That icon eventually will fade away and the audio will start. Once it starts working it just works. It did disconnect on me a couple of times while riding the bus into work, but a refresh got it back without issue. BTW - this method really sucks up the battery power.

A possible option for the truly desperate...supposedly SelectRadio has come up with a beta fix and may have the final fix today. I've never used SelectRadio and can't vouch for them, but they do offer a free 10 day trial. After that, a one time $25. fee (which cannot be transferred to another device unless it's a warranty situation). www.selectradio.com

Same here. Then I cleared the channel cache and NOTHING loads up.

Anyone working on this? C-api? You out there?

Dang... C-Api... we NEED you!

Hey R-capi.
I read your post,I can tell you my experience that it was a SIRIUS problem! Even though the program was telling me I was logged in.

Yup, select radio totally works. Woo!

As for C-api, I've got 10 days before the trial runs out on the select radio, so obviously I hope something can get worked out. If not, though, I'll gladly pay a 1 time fee if it means I can still stream and not absolutely destroy my battery like skyfire streaming seems to do.

I can also confirm that select radio works well. It is actually a pretty slick application, but I have only played with it for about 15 minutes. I did run into an issue with my sirius login name. Their FAQ tells you to rename it to something between 6 and 10 char. After that I was up and running.
