Have you ever tried icontacts? Do a search on here for it, pretty nifty program. It doesn't show the pictures of the contacts, but it's much better at scrolling through them. Another nice thing it had was a fullscreen grid with letters in each square corresponding to peoples names starting with that letter, made navigating pretty painless. I do like the extra features PocketCM has though, so I am gonna stick with it for now.
in pocketCM if you hold your finger on the left/right (varies in diff ver) of the screen
you get a pop up letter... you can scroll up/down to change it from A-Z

Oh I know that, I was just suggesting the other program to him in case he wants to ditch pocketcm since 6.1 has threaded sms imbedded but has a lousy contact browser.

Cool, I'll check it out. I might just stick with poutlook, so I don't load the phone down with extra software. (I have enough already!)
