Create IE Favorite Shortcut on Today Screen

I am working with the HTC Home Sprint today screen plugin....

Have figured out how to make alpha channel mask icons----and then rewrite the xml scripts for customization....

Works like a charm for any apps that I have loaded with .exe extensions.

My question is----and please pardon if this seems like a stupid question---am new to Windows Mobile.....

Is there a way to set an internet explorer favorite as a shortcut to this type of launcher.....

I'd like to set up a shortcut to mobile YouTube within this HTC Home Sprint Plugin

Maybe another to an ESPN scores page.

So all I'd do is tap on the shortcut within the HTC Home Sprint plugin------then it would launch IE and go straight to that favorite....

I searched with Google and througout the site and didn't see any answers but perhaps I was using bad search terms.....

Thank you for any assistance.

John

Re: Create IE Favorite Shortcut on Today Screen

If You can't do a direct link within that XML script

What about setting the icon to open internet explorer-----.exe

Then adding some type of CMD line command for IE to open to the particualr site????

Again---I just want to tap that icon and it goes directly to http://m.youtube.com

Thanks for any help...
