Is that something you have to run everytime it happens, or is this a permanent fix?

Re: replog.exe
I think it would be a permanent fix......I rarely saw the popup errors, but I have seen them. I haven't seen them since doing this.

The latest MemMaid release version can also fix it now. That's the one that actually restored functionality for me. But clearing the complete notification queue opens up a real basket of worms. Hope this is relevant on this thread. Hearing about clearing replog.exe entries still makes me nervous.

Re: replog.exe
I just had this happen once today, but there was no issue with ActiveSync. I just saw the "cannot execute replog.exe" popup.
I soft reset. Then I did the following (from an old thread on the HP forums): Just to add for people who reached this error and are using MemMaid, the solution is: -------------------------------------------- This means you deleted this entry from the notification queue To fix this: - run MemMaid - Go to the notification Queue module - Tap add - in the program name, type replog.exe - choose "When an RS232 connection is made" in the drop down box - tap Add - close MemMaid - SoftReset We'll see if it recurs.

Re: replog.exe
MemMaid has an option to fix ActiveSync. I first deleted all notifications using MemMaid, then did the patch. I was able to connect via AS once; with WM6.1 having to keep the checkbox checked in USB to PC cuts off the connection. So I went back to MemMaid, Notification Queue, and hit the up arrow next to "Add," and checked "Recreate ActiveSync." And now I'm back in business!
