replog.exe

I kept on getting the message "cannot execute replog.exe" which is nothing new unfortunatley. but this time its worse than just a soft reset. my phone wont activesync at all :-\ i have hard reset my phone twice too and it still wont sync. anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

I get this message from time to time as well as "cannot execute calnot.exe". I would also like a fix. More annoying than anything!

Re: replog.exe

I used MemMaid to clear the notification queue and then ran the patch FixASRunAt to restore the replog.exe entry which is required for active sync to work. All is good now.

Re: replog.exe

Is "running" it as simple as executing it? I get a blank screen with OK and HELP (which only contains an about).
Naturally I hit OK, though I still get pop-up errors and cannot activesync.

*edit*
I ended up getting it to connect. After rebuilding the queue, "fixing" activesync in Memmaid, and then running FixASRunAt it finally connected.

*edit again*
Now it is flakey, sometimes it is recognized, but then the connection will randomly drop and become an "unrecognized" device.

You didn't do the first step which is to clear all notification with MemMaid or Pocket Mechanic. The pop ups are coming from the notification queue. Delete ALL notifications and then run the patch. Execution of the patch returns a blank screen; however if you check the notification queue you'll see that the need replog entry is receated. Soft reset and active sync you phone and the notification queue should be rebuilt with correct entries.

Edit: "Enable advanced network functionality" need to be selected under Settings-> System-> 'USB to PC'.

You're making this too complicated. You didn't need to rebuild or fix anything manually. Just delete everything in the notification queue (back it up if you want) and then run the FixASRunAt patch. Soft reset, resync, and you should be good to go.
