Hey I work for sprint and the way to send a voicemail without calling the phone all you have to do is dial 11 with the area code and number and it will give you the voice mail you can do it form any kind of phone. If you have any questions like that give me a shout if I dont know I can find it

Didn't work for me either. I Dialed
11 760-712-**** and I got a sorry message from a recording.
The phone I was calling is also a Sprint phone (WM).

Worked for me....goes directly to voicemail of receivers phone without ringing them...

well this was from a sprint voiceSMS phone to a wm sprint phone. since wm doesn't have voiceSMS i guess it defaults to a text message and you must dial a special number to listen to it.

but, i think if both phones are voiceSMS then you're just presented with the actual voice record. it's totally separate from voicemail inbox (i think..).

Perfect. This worked for me. I tried calling from my 6700 to both a Moto Q9 and Treo. Thanks.

11 555 555 5555 and that worked for u guys? my phone doesnt even dial it just hangs up

I haven't tried this, but I wonder if you guys that it's not working for have Automatic Prepend on in your phone settings, so that you're actually sending three 1's instead of two.
