Voicesms

Just saw this feature on my wife's Lg Rumor and i think its the greatest thing.

From the explanation in the book and on the phone this is suppose to just deliver a voicemail without making the recipient phone ring.

is there anything like this available?

yeah i think that will be a sweet add-on to this phone.. just want to be able to send my "friends" voicemail when i am at a party that i dont want them to come to LOL... like send them a voicemail at 3am telling them to come by and blablabla and then blame it on sprint for them getting it super late LOL

If you're on Sprint you can send a "back door" voice-mail only message through your own personal voice mail box. Just dial up your mail box. When you get to the main menu you can "send a message" by pressing 2. Record your message and then send it.

I think this only works for Sprint-to-Sprint customers.

Coz

mostly all sprint phone have this now. all the samsung M series have it.

it's not really a voicemail, its like sending a wav attachment with the recorded message..

basically its nothing more than recording something then emailing it.. this is something you can do with any phone i think.. the only difference is it sends it as a MMS i think.. the party receiving it has to download it.

the way cozboogie describe is the real way to send a true voicemail without the party phone ringing but it only works if you both have the same provider as already noted.

1 Attachment(s)
well it sent a text message telling you to dial a certain number (odd number) to hear the message.

That's very odd...when I do it it just pops up as a voice message. Hmmmmm...very strange.
