Re: Official Release: SPB Mobile Shell 2.0

Another way to back up your settings is to use a registry editor like SKTools to save the whole HKLM\Software\Spb Software2\ key structure to a .reg file, then import it after flashing.

Re: Official Release: SPB Mobile Shell 2.0

the animations are the most fluid ive ever seen on this device..

with that said, flipping pages is a real hassle.. i try to slide my finger and i end up pressing contacts or multimedia.. its hard flipping pages with my finger.. on the touch.

does anyone know possibilities of creating themes with this??

I know what you mean, it is tough to flip pages...I always wind-up opening another menu or app while trying to slide my finger across the screen!!!!

I am with you on the themes as well, but not too hopeful, you know how SPB gets with customizations or skins (AKA the old PhoneAlarm/PhoneSuite debate). If you can get custom icons (I think I have seen a few of these already for Shell 2.0), that is about as 'customized' as it gets with SPB!!!!

You can flip pages with the soft keys...

My "cure" for this is to run my finger at the very top or bottom of the screen, that avoids activating something you don't want to.

Thats strange, I usually had this problem with "cube" type programs but not this one. Maybe because I drag my finger across the entire screen and not just a short portion of it.

Re: Official Release: SPB Mobile Shell 2.0

So far I'm very much liking it. I've run SPB Mobile Shell 1.5 and Pocket Plus together for a while. The one thing I don't like is an oversight in how the two work together. They have the function that lets you drag down from the taskbar to jump to any page you want of Mobile Shell, which is pretty slick, but it completely cancels out the Close Button functionality that Pocket Plus provides, so I had to turn off the dragging function to get back the task manager functions I like so much. Otherwise I like it.
