Re: Iris Browser for Windows Mobile 5/6 v1.0.11 (2.0 MB)

I agree about NetFront. I've been saying that for months. Does anyone know if this app will set itself up as your default browser? After dealing with Opera, I have to ask before I check out any browsers.

Not all of use have skyfire... Thanks for rubbing it in. Where's the No-Thanks button?

opera mobile 9.5 is the best I've used so far. I don't like how skyfire is so dependant and netfront just doesn't mesh well with me. I've tried iris before, didn't like it.

Re: Iris Browser for Windows Mobile 5/6 v1.0.11 (2.0 MB)

Maybe i missed a setting, but this browser sucks. It doesn't render in single column mode, so you are forced to scroll like crazy to read a webpage.

Re: Iris Browser for Windows Mobile 5/6 v1.0.11 (2.0 MB)

Yeah, it's pretty bad. I like the little FX though. The way the text bounces when you select something and the way tab pages slide across and bump the other page out of the way. The browser as a whole is unusable. Pages take way longer and send more information(What's up with that) than any mobile browser I've ever used. The scroll is terrible as well. This is my first time with this software, but hopefully you guys can get back to work on this one.

Re: Iris Browser for Windows Mobile 5/6 v1.0.11 (2.0 MB)

the concept is cool, the pressed link animation is unique, the zoom is semi-cool yet choppy... other than that, this browser kinda blows cuz it takes FOREVER to load a page...

i don't have skyfire and i know you still can't compare this to it... youtube does not work...

opera's official beta will be on their website on july 15th... fingers crossed for flash support
