Do all of these programs work in conjunction with MS outlook?

I'm looking for a program that can two basic things:

1. I'd like to customize when an item apears on my homescreen. If mom's birthday is next month, it doesn't do me much good to know mom's b-day is TODAY, when her gift should have been mailed last week. The today screen calendar only lists appointments a day or two in advance.

Right now, I schedule things as an "all day event", which works okay, except they do not appear until the actual day (see the example of mom's b-day). This is also somewhat annoying when looking at the "month" view. My entire month is filled with open squares which are basically recurring "to do" lists.

2. I'd like to see a general "to do" list on my homescreen. I can schedule items as "tasks" with MS outlook, but on my homescreen it appears as "1 active task". I'd like to know what it is I have to do.

badchad,
There are a number of alternate (and free) Today plug-ins for both your issues, e.g. calendar+, tasks-plus, and TodayAgenda. The last one is extremely capable and customizable for both tasks and calendar. I'm pretty sure it will satisfy your needs on the second issue; not so sure about the first. You can customize it to show all appointments for many (more than 11, I think) days in advance on the today screen, but you may end up having to scroll to the second or third page to see the important ones. Search for TodayAgenda and you'll find a link to a cab file somewhere around here.

tukimi is free and does the monthly view nicely, search here at ppcgeeks I know I posted the cab already.

I was using a great today plugin for birthdays, but it satrted causing lockups in wm6, I have been searching for another to no avail.

All it did was look as far ahead as I told it to and show any contacts w/ birthdays - concept was great, but doesn't work well w/ wm6...

Re: Calendar Program

I've already recouped the cost of my new subscription to this group!

Today Agenda worked perfectly and solved one of the most aggravating issues I was having with the Today screen on my new Touch Cruise. Downloaded and installed without issue. Configured within about 15 minutes. The HTC Home plugin in nice. Adding Today Agenda makes Today perfect!

Thanks everyone and especially thanks Marcel!
