The 750 is a completely different animal internally. It's very similar to the HTC Hermes devices. The hardware supports audio over bt unlike the 700's.

Bad Sector fyi: I had replaced the 700's bt stack with the 750's and the audio gateway acts the same as before. You can open the gateway, but all you hear is static like an open connection. I would be glad to be wrong, but it sure seems like it is a hardware issue. However, the a2dp profile can transfer audio just fine (well fine is really not the word for it).

I don't know enough about bluetooth hardware to know, but do these profiles use the same hardware connections or is it possible they connect to different pins?

bdog, did you soft reset your phone after installing MSVC? Are you using the IDTransfer program? Not the CallerID one.
Did you install my prog and MSVC on the Device memory?

Try a soft reset after you have both installed. My program does not really interact with MSVC, so I'm not sure why it would do this.

Are you the same person who posted about this on PDAphone?

Hannip, that is pretty much my point why I think the makers are full of it when they say that the BT audio is directly linked to the Cellular Radio, and EVEN if it was, there is a way to pass it thru... as shown by the a2dp doing it! Unfortunally I do know how to make these's dll's... I guess that will be my next undertaking... hehe

SppedDemon, so you are saying that straight out of box, with the JX10 that the caller ID automatically transfers to your BT headset?

Yes it does. If you are connected via Bluetooth it even gives upcoming appointment reminders.

But does it give you Caller ID announcement (audible) to your BT headset?

I know that the new 1.6 does the appointment announcements correctly, but it still did not transfer the ID annoucement to the BT headset, which i why I made this program.

It does transfer ID announcement. If the person that is calling you not in the contact list then the program will read you the number.

Sounds amazing, but what do you mean "works best: w/ MSVC software? I don't have that, so will it work fine without it?

Will this work with HCT TyTn (Hermes)?

It doesn't have MSVC but Cyberon's Voice Speed Dial. I will be glad if even it cannot announce the caller ID, I hope it can transfer the call/SMS ringtone from the phone to the BT headset (I am using Bluspoon AX).

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!!!

EDIT:

Tried it on my TyTn, it doesn't work. Sounds doesn't get transferred from device speaker to BT headset.
