Re: visual voicemail

1." CallWave works with most major carriers including Cingular, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Unfortunately activation is not available for Sprint". (from Callwave on Dashwire)

Re: visual voicemail

Callwave works with Sprint. Sprint just charges for call forwarding unlike the other companies.

Re: visual voicemail

Gorelow - If you signed up for call forward on busy/forward on unanswered before sprint "switched their system" (not really sure when that was) they will switch it over to free and refund what they have charged you. If you signed up after they "switched their system" they tell me there is no way around it. Although the supervisor did tell me that they could shut off the charges to certain individuals.

In my experience Sprint customer service isn't the best, but occasionally you get someone who is willing to help you out. Call and ask them why they started charging. When I did that, the supervisor told me he could take care of it for me. I then let him know that I already had it taken care of but thanked him. Seems if you're nice and are just asking you stand a chance.

Re: visual voicemail

Perhaps the answer is the windows mobile community bombarding Dan's email address with complaints about the fact that they are charging for call forwarding when others are not. we also might want to mention that giving us this functionality will allow us to use 3rd party software for visual voicemail comparable to that of the iphone. (When we get out software updates we will find out if this works by looking for mms and sprinttv on the mogul.)

I have to go with Knether here, I know it is late in the game for this subject, but if you can get out of the charging for forwarded call thing, this sounds great...you can chose how you get notified of voicemail (I think SMS is good), you can set unique VM greetings to different contacts, set-up dump settings (callers you don't want get a short message then hung-up on), and best of all it is totally free....for what they offer, I think that is pretty impressive!

Visual Voice Mail app?

Does anyone know of a visual voice mail application similar to the one that the instinct has? I dont mean video mail. The program on the instinct shows the voice mails by the number that left it and allows you to fast forward through the message

Re: Visual Voice Mail app?

I don't know how the Instinct works, but I use Youmail. It has the slider where you can fast forward thru the message. Try it out at youmail.com an let me know what you think.
