In the interim, why not use Palringo and setup a group for you to chat on.

Octro doesn't support AIM chat rooms yet. It does support Jabber chat rooms though. We will try to add support for AIM chat rooms.

Desktop Installation

Desktop version. Win2k Pro SP4. Install went ok but the first time I started it I got...

The procedure entry point freeaddrinfo could not be located in the dynamic link library WS2_32.dll.

Any ideas?

TIA,

Jordon

Any plans to make this software available on WM2003 devices? When I try and run the cab file on my X50, it says it's not a vaild CE file.

Ans: Now you can do without a Google account. In the Login Information screen of OctroTalk, select Register new octro.net account. Enter your username and password and select Ok. Now you are all set to use AOL account. Go to Menu -> Legacy Accounts and configure your AOL account.
Am I the only one that finds this funny? Legacy Accounts.
