Very nice... Anyone using this with O2 Plus? I can't create this in my shortcut menu. The regular windows search icon appears instead of the Live Search which I selected. Any help is appreciated.

Same here I could really use some DFW area help this week with all the snow. Anyone else have trouble with this program when you try to close it. Takes for ever to completely close and sometimes freezes my PPC

I gave then a couple pages of feedback to the beta email address, and actually got a nice, detailed reply (shocking!)

* they are aware of the random crashes/hangs and have see it themseleves but have not fixed it yet,

* working on better way to save locations

* thinking about better turn by turn directions (nothing firm there )

Anyway, he said they're working on the next release and it should have some decent improvements... he didn't say when it would be released.

Still, nice to know they read the beta email reports!

My report included: hangs/crashes after use, worse if you use BT/GPS
Enhancements wanted:
preload maps on route for gps nav,
better turn by turn nav (at least make a beep when next turn is close, in GPS mode!)
arrow always points UP in GPS option (ie, rotate map, not arrow, as direction changes)
Route planning uses traffic reports,
Est travel time, time to next turn, recompute route, etc...
and...
Way better way to manage locations!

I've found it very useful as well. Portland, OR doesn't have traffic yet, so I can't comment on that feature. It usually finds right what I'm looking for, makes it easy to dial and integrates the map.

I used to have to call directory assistance all the time (I'm a road warrior) and call places and get directions. No more thanks to LiveSearch.

I can find people. At least anyone listed in a phone book. Haven't tried saving to contacts though. I guess once you called them, you could save from your call history.
