What provided cache folder are you referring to? I think that's where I'm messing up.

UnRAR folder "Cache" to "\Program Files\SprintTV" on your device That's what's confusing me. Where do I get this folder that suppose to replace the old cache? Please help me.

Just as an FYI...MobiTV has some new channels that are currently on SprintTV...and the only reason why I fooled with SprintTV was because of mainly the NFL network, but now MobiTV has it....so the heck with the headaches of SprintTV

What version of MobiTV are you using? I'm using the AT&T one version 4.4.1.42471

The cache folder is in the rar file. If you have Winrar or Winzip on your PC, you can open it and see the cache folder. The instructions say to unrar it to the folder, but I've gotten it to work by unraring it to my computer and copying it to the sprinttv folder on my phone.

ricchini, I'm with you...i don't think it's a coincidence that the files failed three times simultaneous to the problems that SprintTV and MobiTV has had over the past couple of days. Somebody doesn't want us to have it. I didn't get the phone for SprintTV, but thats surely why I got power vision. Of course I didn't know that the phone was compatible until after I signed up for service. Oh the fine print. I had MobiTV, but why pay for that when I can have what I was supposed to have in the first place?

You guys just dont seem to understand....

you are mistaking the fact that the software has never completely worked and instead blaming a "Snitch". As a joke its funny, although in all seriousness it is not applicable.

The way it was explained to me, they are attempting to "filter" or "validate" handsets at the server level by using a combination of information. When you replace the cache it temporarily resets this mechanism, but since you have no control over the data handed to the server by the handset you cannot beat this process completely. The VID is based upon a combination of unique subscriber handset and STV app info.
