Re: Multitouch for singletouch screens! (TouchPro 1/2?)

I'm not trying to flame or hate but i just don't see the point. I can do everything I've ever needed to with 1 hand (holding the device and using that hands thumb). y should i move my phone to the other hand or set it down somewhere just to do a pinch gesture? its awesome that we CAN do this (because some people will use it) but it seems like an inconvenience 2 me. just my 2 cents

I think that the idea is WAY awesome! Having an Ipod touch I can tell you that there are some cook perks to having this work...Is it necessary? No. But it would be cool to have some apps that use this.

Absolutely right. If you poke a resistive screen in two spots at the same time, all you are doing (or as the device sees it anyway) is poking the screen in the center of those two spots. Multitouch, while it is a cool novelty, is completely worthless, in my opinion, LOL! IMO!
