Weatherpanel having problems updating in the afternoon last couple days

This happened yesterday and again today at around 4-5pm Eastern Standard Time. I noticed that WP was stuck trying to update for over an hour, phone was warm and battery had drained much more than expected.

Disabled it, then tried again later in the afternoon and it was fine (though I noticed that it was taking longer to update once the update started running).

A friend of mine said his did the exact same thing yesterday and today. Anyone else here notice or is anyone left even using WP?

I used to use Weatherpanel when it first came out up until the last couple of years....kept getting tired of it having issues updating the weather causing my device to get warm and run the battery down.

Mine has worked fine. Next time that happens take a look at your Radar files. If you have a crap load then the issue is with weather.com not responding to your update request. If not then it could be a corupt WP data file.

the other night i installed a new rom and my wp stoped working. i thought it was related. it wasnt and wp is fine now....
