I installed this last night and played around with it a bit. I really like the layout (much better than the one I use now...Imov), but whenever I go to log onto Yahoo, the app just closes out on me. AOL IM seems to work fine, and those are the only two out of the four offered I use. Does that sound like anything someone has run across/fixed in here? I hope it is workalbe, as I mentioned...I really like the layout/look of this app.

Thanks guys....good find

I installed this yesterday evening, to use AIM. It's fantastic, I love it. Best AIM app I've tried so far (I was on Octro before but I don't like the limited usability of going through Gtalk ... I'd rather use AIM directly). I tried IM+ and while it's a good app, it's WAY over priced. If this app turned out to be less expensive than the $40 IM+ costs, I'd gladly pay for it! The only thing missing is a home screen plugin, but at least having the notification in the top bar is good too. Nice work...

for treo 700wx i was suppossed to install the smartphone version right? or was it suppossed to be pocket pc one?

just wondering because everything seems to be working fine except that nothing is touch screen? is that normal or did i install wrong version? also is there a way to rearrange AIM groups...for some reason it puts my first group last

You SHOULD have the PPC version for a 700WX (I use the same device). I am suprised the smartphone version works. I think as long as it works, a worst-case scenario would be losing the touch-screen capability within this app. I would say if the touch screen being disabled bugs you, get the PPC version (I would).

(I know Palm refers to our phones as 'smartphones', but they are really PPC (the difference is that smartphones do not have touch screens, and PPCs do)

I hope this helped!!!

No problem, Palm is a bit misleading in their description of our devices. Feel free to ask any other questions you may run into!

Love this app! I use it strictly for AIM and I was typing away for a while and still have battery life! this wasn't the case with OctroTalk.

hey this program is very cool. the layout is nice. however it takes a bit more ram than palringo and Microsoft MSN. i'm probably gonna make the switch anyways because this program allows me to read the "sub-names" of my buddies. and this program lets you see when your buddies are typing a msg too! it also has invisible mode and it tells you when your buddies log on.
very impressed, great work!

edit: man does this program leak ram like a baby without diapers.... considering a different option now. this program is a bit buggy with wkTask.

The one thing I have noticed is if your buddy is on a mobile device it will not show up on your buddylist. Other then that, it's a great app so far, even better then IM+ IMO. Now if they would turn off clear type i would be happy.
