Try the new version, it also fixes the "Enter to Send" bug. Check OP for link!

Sweet application. I wish there was a way to turn off the cleartype though.

Does this app have voicechat/ PTT/ Photo messaging?

i would love to try this but i need an IM with PTT ability. If it just had the ability to voicechat (PTT) this would sound like a winner to me... till then my winner is Palringo (even though it doensnt 'really' allow multiple conversations. I mean it does but not in the most convenient way.

No, this app does not have PTT. You could try contacting the developer and urge him to implement PTT functions, but I don't think that's what he's going for anyway. If PTT is what you need, you're probably better suited using Palringo.

ClearType is Microsoft's subpixel rendering technology, and it smooths out your fonts. WM gives you the option to enable or disable it in Settings. Slick has it enabled by default and offers no option to disable it.

The anti-aliased text. I prefer sharp/crisp text on lcds, but that's really just my preference. I wish lonely cat had an option to enable/disable it.

Not really, at most an unmeasurable amount. However, I notice a slight overall lag with using WM when you have ClearType enabled. Plus it tends to make the text fuzzy and blurry rather than "clear" like it's supposed to. I prefer it disabled as well.
