Re: new version of opera mini! no java needed!
Interesting, I loaded it up on my Touch Pro and thought, "great, I don't have to go in the registry to make the fonts larger". In fact, they seem to have sized them exactly the size I was using in the Java based beta. I love that I can run both, I've been thinking about dedicating the Java Mini 5 beta to use for Microsoft CRM Mobile and bumping up the fonts to an even larger size.

Re: new version of opera mini! no java needed!
The Opera Min 5 for WM "small" font is still a little too LARGE... there should be an "extra small" choice for WVGA/VGA users with good vision.
Regardless of what windows system font size is used in Settings.

That setting seems to make very little difference inside of Opera Mini 5 WM. |

Re: new version of opera mini! no java needed!
to be fair, that verizon screenshot you posted has a lot font on that page that's bold and larger than standard font on most pages... but i agree, there hsould be more options. It would be cool to have multiple zoom level choices in the settings like with om10. The problem with om5 java is the font looks too compressed if that makes sense... the size doesn't bother me so much, it's that it looks like it's washed out.
system font size start>settings>system>screen>text size

Re: new version of opera mini! no java needed!
If you want to try to make Opera Mini 5 Beta the default browser you can do it (kind of) with JZ SmartMort
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=382043 Since this beta doesn't properly accept a url input, he had to make a workaround. Basically, it'll copy the link into the clipboard and open Opera Mini and then you have to paste in the link. Not a horrible solution. He hasn't made that version public, but you can PM him there for a link to a version that supports Opera Mini WM. |

Re: new version of opera mini! no java needed!
has anyone NOT using mort scripts made OM5WM the default via registry editing?
If so when you click a http link from Outlook Mobile what exactly happens? |
