I don't get how the other themes worked. i tried copying the files to my windows directory and all that did was break my SMS.

What would really be cool would be a greyish title bar, has contact pic, and 3D text bubles like the iphone style, and nothing else. I can pick and choose features from different skins that make this up in its entirety, but it seems there are different versions, and when combined totally messes up the texting appearance.

Here are the images from the Ninja theme. Use the Win7 615 .cab install it and get it all going. Do a soft reset. Unzip this on your PC and transfer teh images to your device. Using Total Commander, copy the image files from this .zip to the Windows directory on your phone. It should give you a warning, "File already exists- replace file?" (something like that). "Replace all", or "Yes". Should work. If not and it messes with something, just reinstall your Win7 615 .cab and you are back to the drawing board.

Yeah, i tried that. It just broke my SMS. It sucks because that's the only theme I want.

I have heard some people use that term- "Broke my sms". Does that mean that your text messaging no longer worked? Bc i have done this w/o any problems. So what exactly do you mean when you say it "broke my sms"? again- bc i have done this (doing it right now) and have experienced no problems with my sms.

I can't launch the SMS application. It won't open. I click on Messaging in a select SMS, or click on the shortcut icon in Mobile Shell and nothing happens.

what cab did you install?
do you have 6.1, 6.5 or 6.5.x?

I have a 6.1 device and I used Astronout Win7 SMS Skin v0.80.615.cab

However, I see now they added a cab for ninja. I wonder if it will work.
