MyMobiler V 1.25 (BETA Build 00117.2349.41) - Page 2

Good news.
I've used this in the past and kind of forgot about it.
So I downloaded and am using it now.
After starting it the first time it connected via active sync with SYNC IP of 169.X.X and so forth.
Since I was using my phone to tether, I wasn't able to test how the browsers in winmo worked.
Not letting that stop me, I shut it down changed connect settings to disable auto connect. Tethered phone and PC then set connect ip to tether gateway 192.168.0.1. Connected and voila, I am posting this now from my tethered PC and browsing on Winmo at the same time.
Sometimes Windows mobile has some interesting surprises, when it works well.

skins for mymobiler? they must have made chnges cause the version I had did not have skibs. But I must wonder what would be the purpose of skins for mymobiler

no real purpose aside from visuals... default mymobiler skin is too boring. looks a lot better if you have a skin of the device you're using for it... it's like the hardware of your phone is on your computer screen, not just the software behind the screen

not sure if they have a pure skin though, maybe diamond2

Hmm. IMHO, skins are the sort of lean toward bloat that doesn't really add value to the purpose of the software.

I fired up the Windows 7 Virtual Machine last night to use this for a bit, just as cool as I remember using it back in the day.

im confused as to how you did this...could you break it down step by step? im wanting to have my phone hooked up to my pc using mymobiler but also have the internets working on my phone...when i hook up with activesync i can control my phone on my pc but i cannot connect to the internets...

im running a 6.5 mightyrom on windows 7 64bit

EDIT: ok...got it to run with a data connection but only when its internet sharing...is there a way i can run this without internet sharing from the phone and be able to use the data connection to run internet apps from my phone on my pc???
