Exclamation WM5 and Windows 7

So, we have to break down and get a new desktop. It came equipped with Windows 7. We are going to do a hard drive transfer (files, programs, etc) from the old to the new today.

My concern is that my wife and I both have HP iPaq hx2495 running WM5. I see that Wondows 7 Movile Device Center wont work with WM5. Is that correct?

If so, what options do we have?

Re: WM5 and Windows 7

I've upgrade all my WM5 devices to 6.5 now, so can't confirm whether it works or not - but you could use the XP virtual machine in Windows 7 to run activesync instead of WMDC.

Re: WM5 and Windows 7

Thanks for the info guys, but where-ever I heard it from, it was wrong. Windows 7 does recognize WM5 through the Mobile Device Center! So no worries!
