There shouldn't be any requirements for pics to sync on our end. Folders on your memory card can act a little strange with Dashwire, but if pics from that folder have already synced then their shoulnd't be a problem. Try renaming the folder and syncing again. If that doesn't work let us know.

It's interesting that this is happening to you. Haven't really seen much of it before (especially if your using a Touch). If you want to try it again, when you sync uncheck the "sync ringtones" box. For some reason this can give phones the message you described. If that doesn't work hit up our support alias at support@dashwire.com

Hope you figure it out.

i would also try a ## 786 # and do that and then re program your phone with the msid and mdn. Then go to ie and launch it let it provision and then install dashwire again.

Funny thing is I just noticed this myself tonight!! Guess I'm re-assigning as well!! Oh well, maybe I can wait it out until that part is worked on...maybe a member setting to disable caller ID pic resizing?

i have a solution,,,,
keep the pic you want on your transflash, then after dashwire loads and syncs then assign that pic to the contact again and all is well.... see it was as simple as anything.... i would like to see dashwire take less time on bootup... it seems to slow down... but it is best on touch,

I was thinking along those lines as well, but wouldn't DashWire detect changes upon next sync and revert them all back to thumbnail again?

I am thinking of just disabling contact sync and waiting it out.

good point i did not think of that... how about looking at plaxio if that is a deal breaker. to me dashwire is better its free, does more but does not sync the calander. I like dashwire more then most programs... I used to like yahoo go 1 and 2 but ver 3 does not sync contacts, they say their is no way to sync contacts... I told they they do with version 1 and 2 of yahoo go....

Calendar functionality is definitely on the way. The issue you're describing (the thumbnail resizing) is something we know we need to resolve. It's on our list of to-do's

i would like to see a change in the contacts in how they are downloaded to the phone. I like the way windows live does it. When you select a new contact it asks do you want to save it as a live contact or an outlook contact. I save all mine as a live contact as it will then save it to my hotmail contact list and still appear on my phone even though the contact is not saved in the pim.vol file. I would also like to see an option were I can select which pictures or videos i want to upload, sometimes I might take an adult picture of my super model fantasy girlfriend adult movie star sierra, and i might not want that on dashwire.
