Does Skyfire still make it so you can't use your hard volume buttons to control volume?

Nope!!! volume buttons now work on the TP2. that was a huge pain for me as well...kept simulating a "back button" press on volume down. but that has been fixed.

Re: skyfire 1.5 Is Out Now!!! (12/9/09)

Anyone know a fix for Cannot Receive Audio Error. It is giving me a incompatible network (APN) setting. TCP connentions with SSL (port 443) UDP traffic (for audio). Is there a settings fix for Sprint?

It's extremely slow for me too, with full bars & 3g. My Opera is way faster for some reason.

Re: skyfire 1.5 Is Out Now!!! (12/9/09)

Is it better to uninstall the prior version before moving to 1.5, or can one simply "overinstall"?

ETA: Never mind. Found that it will take care of removing the prior version (at least if you're more recent than 0.8 or so), so "overinstall" is fine.

I'm having the same problem on a TP2 with Verizon.

Re: skyfire 1.5 Is Out Now!!! (12/9/09)

Wierd. I installed Skyfire, and Audio was fine. The screen didn't auto-rotate, checked the FAQ and it indicated a restart was required.

I restarted, the screen auto-rotates nicely, but when starting up, got the No Audio warning, and there was no audio.

I closed it, re-opened it, and no warning, and audio works fine.

Pretty good browser overall, but I'm not sure it's quite as user-friendly as Opera (to me at least). No Tabs that I can see? I prefer the way Bookmarks are implemented in Opera.

Seems to be a lot slower than the old version. Could it be proxy server overload from the launch?
