link is dead, but I think I found it on another site. Is this the use of opendns servers instead of the ones provided by your carrier? If so, I've done it and name resolution does seem to be faster, I'm assuming because they do not have to be dynamically allocated to your device from your carrier.
on my 6800/mogul, I had problems with bigger sites (pages over 1MB) when setting both these concurrent connections keys to 25. I think the shear amount of information was too much for my piddly 20MB of free memory to handle and PIE more or less locked up on me and locked up my device, requiring a reboot. Set it back to 15 and things seems to be zipping along without issues.
