After changing only this setting - my 6800 is using battery faster durring suspend mode (not playing music) - I will change back for now as battery is more important to me.
I think the default value was 4 - can anyone confirm this for me? Still a nice find though p.s. other sounds that wouldn't play while suspended also play while this is in effect i.e. if you have a sound for esablishing a connection, you will now hear that sound when a connection is made while the 6800 is sleeping (checking e-mail/weather)...

Registry edit didn't seem to work for me on my Touch, but I just did as previously mentioned and changed the hot key to toggle Screen to Hold Down button and it works great, saving on the battery life a bit since I mostly use this thing as a fancy mp3 player half the time
 Stupid iPhone needs A2DP.

ok i just found out that if you use psshutxp (pc style shutdown) and turn off the screen from there, it should still play audio in any program

also is there a significant increase in batt life compated to just screen off |
