Greetings...

Noob question...I have stock ROM (unlocked phone) and I am unable to permanately change the Operator Name.
(4-Change Operator name HKLM\System\State\Phone\Current Operator Name)

Every time I soft reset it goes back to Verizon Wireless. Anyone have ideas?

Thanks
Magoo

The camera quality stinks on this thing. I was reading a different thread that said this will make the quality look much better...here is the the Reg Edit, Can this be made into a cab please?

HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\P2\MainCamSupportCaptSize
Default value is 10 decimal (0xA hex). Change value to 58 decimal (0x3A hex).

I have found two different A2DP hacks. Which one is the right one for me? I'm using the HTC Touch on Windows Mobile 6.

improve listening to music via bluetooth

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2 DP\Settings
UseJointStereo: change the DWORD from “1” TO “0” no quotes.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings\Bi tPool to 50
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings\Ma xSupportedBitPool to 50
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd
Add "Priority256 "= dword:60 (Use Dword Value)
HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Bluetooth/AudioGateway/Capability
(Dword:69)(Default is 37)

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=10668

--or--

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2 DP\Settings]
"Bitpool"=dword:00000080
"MaxSupportedBitPool"=dword:00000080
"UseJointStereo"=dword:00000002
"SampleRate"=dword:0000BB80

Quick question, Has anyone ran into the "Phone Screen Pops Up Randomly" bug? I'm just trying to get a good idea on about how many people have actually ran into it...

From what I've seen so far, Its a registry change that causes it as a side effect, I know its at least not the battery and performance tweaks, or the Bluetooth Stereo tweaks, But one of the others... Im currently trying them one at a time to single out the one, Or if possibly its a combination of some together.

I get this problem too and I found out it happened ever since I put the reg edit of putting the time and date in my taskbar, see if thats why your phone screen keeps popping up.
