Are there any programs made for Windows Mobile 6 (or particularly the Mogul 6800) that enables you to change the font color of text on the Today screen? I know regedits could enable you to do that, but I was wondering if there were alternatives. I'm not sure if there are others like me, but I get antsy just THINKING about editing anything in the registry.

hmm... they might be, however this paticular thread is only for regedits that are easily reversible via uninstall.... so I suggest you do a search for "font" you may find something around here.

Re: Cab Style regedits - get em here - requests welcomed

I've always used the battery reg hack. To simplify my life after a rom update, 3.16, I used codyppc's battery adn performace hack. I've always been doubtful of the performance hack part, but just liked it being cabbed. For weeks my PIE has been PAINFULLY slow even after loading pages. I just unloaded this hack and it was instantly MUCH better... on the same web page. Really it's no comparisson. I've seen others have differing opinions on this hack as well so yes I know this has been discussed.. but it's still posted here without warning so I thought I'd add my experience to votes.

Anyway, I've learned a simpler way that getting cabs. PHM is free but we all know it doesn't do reg imports.. that's largely why people want cabs. But Total commander can do reg imports. Just write all your reg hacks in a text file someregs.reg and copy them with Total Commander into ///registry and voila... who needs cabs anyway?
