Re: WeatherPanel Freaks: PhatPhinger - a "stylus-free" QVGA theme

yes finding the settings and the cities screen isn't a prob

the slider is absent to pull down to see the bottom of cities screen to where I asume the units choice is located

Oh, I understand now. You must be running on a Treo. Access the WeatherPanel settings via the Today settings - and you should get scroll bars in the settings windows.

Start -> Settings -> Today -> Items tab -> highlight WeatherPanel and tap the Options button

I've heard from some 750 users that this doesn't work for them. Other options: WP-Pilot exposes these settings in it's settings. Also, you can edit the settings directly in the registry...

I've never built a cab install for PhatPhinger, but the manual installation downloads are available on the first post...

If you can unzip on your device, you can certainly download the zip file and extract it into the WeatherPanel\Themes folder. I personally use Resco file explorer, which has this feature built in...

Re: WeatherPanel Freaks: PhatPhinger - a "stylus-free" QVGA theme

I installed WPanel and Phatphinger. Everything worked great. After almost a week, I noticed my shortcut on my main page (of my iphone theme on my htc touch) didn't work anymore. So i went to look into the settings of my weatherpanel. Low and behold, I cannot find the program. I know it IS there because i see it in my remove program items, and I get the weather cloud on my slide to lock page. but i cannot access it anymore. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Please help, before I hard reset. (i'd hate to lose my current customized theme)

This is my first post, but I felt I needed to thank Storyr first. This theme and setup is awesome!!! This is definitely a must have for me. I love it. Thanks so much for your hard work.
