[THEME] WeatherPanel Freaks: Energy-240-QVGA Animated Theme

Ok, here's the easiest way to set everything up.
Go to settings/today/items. Scroll down till you find WeatherPanel. Highlight it and then tap on options. This will give you access to all the settings. You can get to this info through WP on your today screen but for now do it this way.

The first tab is "Cities". From here you can add your city.

Second tab is "Display". Here you can pick your themes, etc.

Third tab is "Connection". Here you can select if to update automatically and select the update interval. I use 2 hours.

Set up your data and click ok.

Start with the above.

EDIT: All WP themes that display on your today screen have a "button" that you can tap with your stylus that will do a variety of things. You can select your city, select update, and settings. Another button will take you to the detailed forecasts and images. You just need to tap on those buttons to figure out what does what.

Don't worry about setting up any radar images at this time...lets just get you up to speed with WP.

ok i got my city and have the forcast i selected the energy theme and nothing happens

so how do i get the radar and traffic to work

Well WP has some stock radar images. You can also put in your own images from traffic cams, etc.

To get to the images go to settings/today/items/weather panel/options. Just as you did above.

Select the city to add an image for in the "cities" tab and select edit. This will bring up a new screen entitled "WeatherPanel:Add City". Tap on the "Weather Images" button at the bottom. From there select "add new". From the "Select Weather Image" pull down menu you can select the stock images from WP. The page also allows you to purge the image after a specified time.

Select you image and you're good to go.

If you want to input your own image/traffic cam, etc. all you do is put the image's url in the "url" box. You can get url's for images from the internet from your favorite image etc.

Hello Mr. Cozboogie,
My MDA only displays the radar image files which end with .jpg only. When I choose the image files (http://video.dot.ca.gov/asx/d11cam4.asx), which end in .asx, the device give me blank screen. Can you find out the reason why ? Can your device display the link above ?

That appears to be a streaming traffic cam. WP doesn't handle streaming media. So you're going to have to stick with .jpgs.
