Re: New bing mobile
Really like the direction they're going with this, and it seems like a technical demo in which they stripped features at will, perhaps to sort out problems
GPS lock would not work for me on this newest black icon bing beta and yes its missing birds eye, and gas prices and all that but i assume it'll be in there once its outta beta |

Re: New bing mobile
Same here.. GPS flat out just doesn't work.. If you are using Energy Photon (as am I), you'll find an exe in \Windows dir entitled.. LiveSearch.exe - Thats the old bing.. Create a shortcut and savor it. Shame to see 'new' apps like this turn into form over function apple-esque crap. I hope thats not the direction this market/segement is headed.

Re: New bing mobile
There's only one thing about this new Bing that's better than the old version:
You can exit the program from pretty much any screen. I hated that you couldn't do that in the older versions. However, the rest of this program is completely worthless and has seemingly lost all of the good features I used the original Bing/LiveSearch for. I'll stick to the old one. This new GPS sucks terribly, the movies section is not as easy to navigate, find my location rarely works, the gas prices are gone, and much more. Thanks for making it worse, MS.

Re: New bing mobile
I want the old bing with bigger buttons, bigger fonts on the map, and auto locate on app start. Give me these options with the old bing interface and functionality and then I will be content. Until then I will keep using the old Bing - it works and its free - hard to complain.
