It seems like the the more I use my phone the more simple I want the UI to be. TF3D is nice eye candy but it can be a pain scrolling through the tabs. I still prefer UltimateLaunch. I'm using just three tabs, each with five program icons. I have Touch Launch fixed to one of the soft keys so every program is just two or three taps away.

Plus, I can never understand why everyone goes through the trouble of putting nice looking wallpapers on there devices only to cover them up with a clock or a bunch of icons. I'd rather look at Mariah when I turn on my TP2.

how does ulitimate launch run?? smooth? i remember on my tp1 it was shakey when you made it over a certain size(which for my configs i liked them to be fullscreen)

The tab animations aren't as smooth as they were on my Mogul, but they look fine. You just need to play around with the animation settings. The only one that doesn't work well is the cube animation. You can turn off the animation all together if you're not happy with how it looks so it will just jump from tab to tab.
