Re: New SMS update from HTC Mostly working!!!!
So after a day and a half of trying to use this, I have uninstalled it. it was switching me between EV and 1X and killing the battery and making my phone do all kinds of wacky crap, little dissapointed but had to give it a shot.

Server Address: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms?X-VZW-MDN=1234567890 (replace with your 10 digit phone #) This is what it actually should be. I went back and edited my previous post with this correct info. |

Re: New SMS update from HTC Mostly working!!!!
For anyone who has anyone who has installed this, and then uninstalled. Have you noticed that the little green icon that tells you haw many new SMS's you have is not there anymore? I know a hard reset will fix this, but just wondering if anyone else had the same thing. I'm talking about the SMS icon on the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Re: New SMS update from HTC Mostly working!!!!
On the HTC website there was an option for a "US" hotfix, but it didn't work on my phone. It just gave me an error saying it wasn't for my device. I guess it was only for US GSM devices.

Never mind, I read it wrong. On HTC's website it said "Please select a location closest to you." That's just to chose a server.

Re: New SMS update from HTC Mostly working!!!!
I can't send MMS on Sprint. Acts like it sent successfully, but the message never goes anywhere. This is the exact same behavior I experienced on the earlier builds and on the 1.8 builds. Not sure how the users who can send and receive have it working. I think the clue might be in that the one guy's data wasn't called "Sprint" but rather "Data Network". Wonder what that's about?
