New SMS update from HTC Mostly working!!!! - Page 9

I had that problem to, it just caused all kinds of issues on my phone. seeing that they released a update to Europe maybe we might get a update? not holding my breath over it though.

i would recommend searching for notification bubbles and try and install some other ones, maybe that will bring them back for ya

Will this conflict with MM rom(make sms slower, buggier,etc...)

Coz i just finished customizing it to my perfection after 2 days.

I dont understand.

If this is a Product FROM HTC why is it not working 100% out of the box! Its made for the TP2 atleast it says it is on the HTC website.

Why would they put out this update if its not complete?!!!

actually, it is complete, but it was made for GSM Touch Pro 2's in Europe. It wasn't released in the USA, just ported over by some devs.

So after a day and a half of trying to use this, I have uninstalled it. it was switching me between EV and 1X and killing the battery and making my phone do all kinds of wacky crap, little dissapointed but had to give it a shot.

I can't send MMS on Sprint. Acts like it sent successfully, but the message never goes anywhere. This is the exact same behavior I experienced on the earlier builds and on the 1.8 builds. Not sure how the users who can send and receive have it working. I think the clue might be in that the one guy's data wasn't called "Sprint" but rather "Data Network". Wonder what that's about?

Nope, I tried changing all those options and I just could not get it to send a MMS.

What I would really like to see is a few people that are running the stock 6.5 Sprint rom try this and get feedback from them. see if it works.

I'm running 6.5 bone stock on sprint.
Didnt work sending. Message failed repeatedly popped up. Had to remove it.

So currently I'm still stuck at the same point of being able to send MMS, but not receive properly... I get the message saying "new MMS, please download" but it fails when I try to download it.

@puff601 - I found a site with a ton of CDMA settings, but I didn;t bookmark it... (what was i thinking...?)

I'll do some more digging later...
