Let's wait for an update from Maranello and more testing of current options with his app.
I will look at this more and if there is not an update soon, I may make a simple config. template for you guys to use for now.

Thanks, anything I can do to help or test let me know.

i just finished updating CHT & CHT Editor for my bro (he got my hand me down TP2)...the only issue ive come across so far was that when editing the home layout and clicking DONE the resizing icon for the analog clock stays displayed (not a biggie, just have to run cleanRAM to clear it up)...am i missing something or has anyone else come across this issue?...

In the meantime, enjoy your taskbar, and the BG4all mods built in and the panoramic wide option for homescreen.
There are several mods out there that will skin your bars using the regular wallpaper option. Maybe try out Bwizard.

True Fullscreen Mode is planned for a later release.

Bwizard had the same results :( but I am still hard at it lol.

I have noticed some lag now with sense with 1.8 but I am using the lock screen and that seems to still have issues with me. just got more tweaking to do to figure it all out but I will get it running smooth.

Edit
Well I am on my 1st hard reset I don't know if something went wacky on the install but its really made things go haywire, I am thinking it was the lockscreen because all was fine before I turned that on. it made the phone almost unusable. I am going to try again without turning on the lock screen and see if things get better. I had the lock set on run on suspend and the standard WM set.

I have posted some of theseHERE as well at PPCgeeks, mainly in post #3 for CHT 1.8 mods.

Interesting, for me on a fresh rom, it was faster then 1.7.1.
Daughter's birthday today, so will look more at backgrounds tonight.
As there were some optimizations made to the scrolling and swiping that were noticeable on all devices.
Anyhow, I hope you getting running acceptably. Notice there is quite little impact on your ram, even with the music player on your home screen.
It's very minimal.

I found a little work around. On a fresh clear storage I installed both Cookie cabs and then my hd wallpaper, after that I just go to set my wallpaper from the home screen. you can set portrait, landscape, and tabs. I'm mainly using the hd for the taskbars and then using my pic i made the cab with for my backgrounds and they seem to work.

Don't get me wrong by any means, I LOVE it. I have a tendency to break stuff and now I just have to backtrack to what I did and I will get it running Great. thanks again for all your hard work.

Here is a screenshot of mine. HTC Sense v2.5 & WM 6.5 - All Tabs - No Compression is the profile i use and every thing seems to align up fine for me. But I go into CHTE and change it from hd to Regular wallpaper mode. then set it to the wallpaper image i made the cab with. This works for me and I can get landscape to work as well. glad you found a fix another way.

I was also wondering if there was a way to get rid of the black bar under the date and alarm??? If not I think I have mine set up the way I like it. Thanks to everyone that helped.

I guess from the screen shot it is off a little but I didn't notice it on my phone.

im having the same issue with the white background. :( i think it did it once before i even installed hdwall so that my not be the problem. i also noticed that in CHT Editor under wallpapers, hdwalls and homescreen wallpaper are selected. arent you only supposed to be able to select one option?

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. ;)

I appreciate the props as well.
As you know personally already, a big reason I am involved in the development process of this mod, is so that I can help be sure that this mod works as efficiently and effectively as possible on our TP2 devices.
Not to mention the VGA role I try to fill as well, using my old TP1.
So again, I appreciate the recognition bud.
I spend many hours working with and this and pushing all new features to their limits. To be sure that all crazy combos are working without show stopping errors.
As well as helping dream up new features to try and work in and help bring the ideas of others to reality, when I feel they are worth looking into.

Also, others should know that I have been given full permission from Co0kie to post this thread with the cabs and try and help the CDMA community with any issues that I may be able to provide assistance with.

Thanks again Straitup27!

hey santod
I enjoy the hd mini lockscreen bar.not sure how hard it would be but have you ever thought about making a dusk type theme for it where when you click and hold it changes colors? i always thought that was a nifty feature

Re: {{Manila Mod}}Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.0{{6-Jun-2010}}

1.8 is fantastic. Loving all the new additions.

Only thing that is bugging me a bit is when I slide up/down over the clock, to get to the other screens, the clock is left in the "pressed" state quite a bit, where the background becomes the silver/white like when you are pressing it to get to the alarms screen. This didn't happen on 1.71.

Santod, I installed this great mod update last night. All I can say is wow!! Having this mod has convinced me to hold on to my TP2. I really love that Background 4All is included. I do have one question though. Since I am not using HDWalls do I still need to use the Max TF3D Theme maker to get the task bar & soft key skinned like the background. If so I installed it and tried but it did not work. I then uninstalled it until I had a chance to ask for your advice. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

well i reinstalled CHT & CHTE and that solved the problem. in the editor, both "regular" & "hdwall" were selected somehow and it wouldnt let me unselect either 1 of them... after i reinstalled i did a little testing and yea, the white background only happens when hdwalls is selected.

i use to use Max TTM to skin my bars, until i noticed my tp2 starts up alot faster without it. now i use hdwalls to skin the bars and let CHT do the rest. i installed hdwalls, selected regular wallpapers in CHTE and it works fine.

Dude the new CHT is fukkin baller status... This shit is so fast, and coming from Mr. Skeptic himself that's a huge compliment lol... CHT 1.7.1 was fast but 1.8 is DEFINITELY and NOTICEABLY faster... Good job guys, my hat goes off to you... But since I'm not wearing a hat I'll just hit this blunt for you instead, thanks a bunch... =)

So I installed HDWalls, and than created a cab... Installed it and it looked fine but not as HQ as I remembered so I downloaded the HQ Patch that's included with HDWalls, and than it took off my image and put the stock black/grey screen back on my hometab, but you can see the taskbar was still the one from my HDWall setup... So I erased the HQ Patch and now I can't get HDWalls to work... I've messed with the CHT Editor, erased and reinstalled HDWalls, etc and I just can't get the HDWalls wallpaper back.. Any ideas..??

From my experience HDwalls just does not want to play nice with it, what I have installed is bwizard and did a registry tweak to get it all nice and clean.

I had a similar issue and it was just easier to Hard Reset. I messed around with that for a couple hours and couldn't get it fixed.

Thanks for that info Wes I appreciate it bro.. And yes as stated above, the link to xda is broke..

Fortunately I stumbled across the SKTools cab on my storage card, erased CHT and HDWalls, used the Clean option, soft reset, reinstalled both, and now all is working fine...

So a word to the wise, I guess the HQ Patch is not needed for HDWalls anymore with this new CHT... At least in my situation it's not..

Correct, no patch is needed. Please read wallpaper notes and faq on the first page of this thread regarding wallpaper. The white screen issue is being fixed also. Regarding bluetooth toggle, there is a setting in the editor to link the toggle to the app for your specific rom, as they tend to differ.

Its a landscape hdwalls issue, that is controlled by Cht. But a fix is coming soon. It is not effecting the bg4all thats built in.
