Yeah, I actually made one already, last night and just change it out with JWMD Icon Changer.
Very easy to do and can revert back to stock real easy.

the animation on the sprint lovers rom is "startup.gif" took me a while to find it.
how do i get the HTC splash screen to be black liek it was originally?

This is the original Sprint startup GIF. I removed it in the Sprint Lover's rom because it gets cut off halfway through playing (I guess they didn't care too much about it.) Rename to startup.gif and copy to \Windows
