Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)
I will look into that. My first guess would be, that, if your number of total links is different, then when exported, that it assigns them in a different order, as per page layout. So, you may wanna try, after fresh install, manually setting the number of links, to what they were, when you exported last. Then import your settings. This may or may not resolve that for you. If not, I will look into it some, later tonight.

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)
i actually had noticed this prob. awhile ago, just forgot to post it...
w/out the cookie mod, if you hit the date it pops up a month view pop up 'thingy'. it doesnt take you to the calendar tab but stays at home and the pop up isnt the whole screen but kinda like a small pop up window of a calendar. if that makes sense but w/ cookie mod installed if you press the date it doesnt do this but it takes you to the calendar tab. its not a big deal but thought id mention it. cuz for the calendar on home i redirect to thumbcal and therefore cancel out the calendar tab and id like for the date to pop up that window cuz as of now it does nothing unless i redirect to thumbcal also (but id rather not). i also tested w/out cookie mod and un activated calendar tab, to see if that was the issue but it still popped up, so that wasnt the issue thanks Edit: rom: s3 r10s w/6.5_2.5

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)
The same issue with the contacts happens for me, but not always. I flash at least every couple days. I have not figured out when it works and when it does not.
Otherwise, this is an amazing mod. Soon, I will not have to see the MS start screen ever! I know it has been discussed but an "All Program" would be a perfect fit for this mod. Also some kind of WM Settings....either individual links or a link to "all settings" like Manila, maybe. |

As far as what I said in my earlier post. If you export your settings, with say, 4x4 quicklink setting (16 per page), then after installing fresh again, you should adjust the layout to match your previous layout (4x4) or whatever it was set at, when you exported. Then import your settings and it seems it would fill the links appropriately then. Regardless, I don't think it's too much to do, to drag the icons where you want them once imported. But I would suggest you try my idea above and see if that helps any. |
