Re: {{My Basic Clock Array for Sense 2.5.1922}}NEW OPTIONS ADDED! 1-8-10}}

Let me look at something first. The uninstall of the array will always claim to fail when uninstalled, if you have changed out any clocks. After it fails, then reinstall, it will say it wants to remove the old, say yes, let it install. Then without a restart, reinstall again, it will not see the old at all now and will install. Then restart. I have gone through the same process many times with cabs that got modified when something else was installed. It will always work that way in that scenario. Let me check the AM/PM issue before you go doin a hard reset though, as that is your only real issue at the moment. Although that may just be a result of you installing that cab above as well. That cab is actually written slightly different and although intended for 2.5.1922 it is really coded for 2.5.1921.

Tried and failed. Still locked on PM on the analog. Notta big deal to me to reset. But would love the single ring clock to not break things, it's nice with your 2.5 chrome trans flip outlined. Thanks for all the assistance. |

Anyway, I will ask you again though, please remove that cab from your post as it is likely to only cause more issues by being there. After you reset, and reinstall the clock array, please be sure to check your AM/PM first thing and let me know if that issue comes back! It definitely should not, but if it does, then I need to dig deeper. But I am almost certain it was that cab you installed, as I mentioned it is written differently and all you need on top of my array are the basic analog clock components. Not full arrays, as they will cause conflicts such as what you have experienced. Thanks! |

np, waiting, take your time. I was stating I was about to do it right then,, just that I foresee it coming
![]() As far as recabbing that whole package of clocks, no need unless it is something you want to do. It would be appriciated if you could do that one single ring clock that I attached earlier. I'm a creature of habit and once I get things where I want they will not change. US Cellular has been after me for a year and a half to get a new phone and new contract, nothing they had interested me any more than my old moto razr I was using at the time. They had to give me this TP2 for free to get me to change (their four day sale starting black friday '09). Between the lean and mean MR WAR12/30 and a few mods (mostly yours) and my apps I've deemed useful, I'm right where I need to be for speed, stability, and functionality. That's why I love your mods, I can get the perks of things I like without the weight or issues of the average mod. I've had no use to softreset my phone, and it's remained powered on and 100% functional since Saturday. I just so happened to FINALLY see the AM/PM issue last night (I actually see the home screen very little, a second at most before going to the function I'm after). Re: {{My Basic Clock Array for Sense 2.5.1922}}NEW OPTIONS ADDED! 1-8-10}}
Ok, first, remove that cab you posted, so we don't cause any conflicts. I got the cab already.
Now try installing this AM/PM fix .cab, reset and let me know what you get. I have not seen that before, but this might just fix it! If not, yes hard reset. Then don't install clock arrays on top of one another. After installing an array, you need just the clock .cab itself for individual clocks after that. Let me know and don't forget to remove that attachment. Thanks! Last edited by santod; 01-13-2010 at 06:39 PM. |

Re: {{My Basic Clock Array for Sense 2.5.1922}}NEW OPTIONS ADDED! 1-8-10}}
A KB? nice fix.
![]() **edit** tried it, and the dang thing is STILL stuck on PM in the analog and doesn't change AM/PM when I change the time settings. The flip clock indicator goes away. I'm thinking something else in the background is affecting it. I've performed some testing of mods and apps that were crap prior to getting it in the groove I liked. I've been planning a hard reset to clear out any file or registry reminants. I'll only do a hard reset if you say so, I haven't been in a hurry to up to this point, AM/PM issues don't put me in a rush any as long as appointments work (which they do). I realize this may be something you'd rather fix and am more than willing to be your guinea pig. I just want you to be aware it could possibly be due to something else I had installed and removed previously since my last hard reset. I can always get back to this point, and knowing the install is clean may help. *edit2* Have tried a few installation scenarios for the AM/PM fix cab. First time was where we had left off and I only had your array installed and the PM locked in the analog but AM/PM displayed properly on flip as described above. Then I thought maybe you intended the fix to go over my clocks I had chosen, so I removed the patch, installed the clock skins, and reapplied the patch. Still the same, analog with a locked PM indicator. Removed it all, applied the patch, it removed the AM/PM indicator from Mighty's stock flip clock, same as it had from the flip clock of your array. removed it again, started step by step and tried it all a second time in each possible order. Everytime the patch is applied it applies to only my flip clock. Also: faulty analog skin cab is removed from the post above Last edited by laymanspc; 01-13-2010 at 08:11 PM. |

Re: {{My Basic Clock Array for Sense 2.5.1922}}NEW OPTIONS ADDED! 1-8-10}}
I won't quote that one. But I definitely think you borked up your AM/PM with that other array. As that was another whole cab including the mode9 script for the layouts of everything as well. If it had just been an analog clock, you would be fine. It is likely that it's repairable without a hard reset, and as you said it's just the AM/PM on the analog, and you know the time of day. Possibly you could remove all my clocks completely, reset, install the other pack you had, reset, uninstall that pack, reset, then install mine. But a clean slate is probably best at this point, when that time comes.
As always, if you need anything, just ask and I'll do my whatever I can to help you. ![]() Last edited by santod; 01-14-2010 at 01:40 PM. |

That's the thing about testing apps and mods ya have no clue about, sometimes they screw things up and then leave tidbits behind and create headaches later and so on. I'm going to have some time here in a little bit and I'm going to try to reset and see if that takes care of it.
