I loaded the no curtains cab in my phone, but nothing changed. Can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong? Currently running Calkulins v1.3 ROM.

Did you soft reset after?
And which build?
They are all very premature Beta system builds, pretty much.

Hmm, not sure about that rom. I suggest you to try again. And you never said if you soft reset your phone after installing or not.

I really dont remember about the soft reset, but that is usually the first thing I do if something is not working properly. I will re install and make sure I do the soft reset. Thanks for your help and quick reply.

Ok I just reloaded cab and did a soft reset, no change. Must be the build. Do you know if it works with any Calkulins 2.5 ROM versions?

Should work on these, but I can not guarantee it.

OS 5.2.21056 (Build 21056.1.6.9)

If I can find out which manila files on that rom are for the curtains, I can make you a cab. But right now, I guess I do not know which ones they are on that OS version. Sorry! Some of the chefs actually mix and match their manilas' to their own benefit or interest, which makes it harder and harder to provide 1 cab for all roms, for some mods. A pinch of this, a touch of that, LOL! Because essentially, if they all used the same manila 2.5.1922 with all the original files intact, these mods would work on any rom with that version of HTC Sense. Hope that helps clear things up a little. Maybe more info then you wanted also!

NEVER to much info. I have been toying with building a ROM for my own personal use, but I must say when I start looking at the kitchens and reading info on how to use them it just blows mu mind. Currently I am working with PPC Kitchen and it is pretty simple to use, but I want more in my ROM then it offers. I am sure after a few months of trial and error I will figure this stuff out. Thanks again...now I gave you to much info...hahahaha

Just so we're clear. That cab removes the bar behind the carrier name and behind the slider icons. Not the taskbar and bottom bar. Just want to be sure you are looking for the right effect also. But it's probably the OS difference. I guess.

Well guess what...call me stupid. I was looking at the picture in your post of the Home screen with no black bar behind the top and bottom taskbars and thought that is what the top and bottom curtain is. So your cab works fine. How do I remove the black behind the top and bottom bars?
