v2.81 doesn't seem to be working. I am usung a just reflashed Mighty ROM Impact build 28014. Gets stuck and never loads Manila...

Do not work on MM rom Impact... It might have something to do with the build or I heard Maxcy Say something about still having 2.51920xxx on the ROM that might be stopping it from working. But he also said MAYBE that was the problem... But it don't work, I'm on Energy 1/14/10 and it works just find, Love Mighty... But Love MAX better, lol

so i assume max 2.8 doesn't work with the newest energy rom (2351for touch pro??

i checked my software info and i have manila 1921xxx

you need 1922xxx to run 2.8 max manila right?

anything i can do about this??

MaxManila 2.8 should work fine on the latest(1/14) manila 2.5 release of EnergyROM.

FYI the 2 ROMs that I've found on which MaxManila does NOT work(there may be others) are MightyROM 2.5 and Silence's HDFL. Hopefully Mike will update his ROM, but don't hold your breathe for Silence anytime soon. He's got an iPhone now so he's not doing anymore TP2 ROMs in the near future.

I've used MaxManila on Energy's, Deck's SSS and Calkulin's ROM's so far, without issue.

you can't,you need to use the roms released yesterday for the tp,he released 2.1 and 2.5 roms for vga

It has been ready since the weekend but I reserved a couple of days to test it out on a couple of ROMs. Unfortunately, it only works so far on Energy, Xanny and Balaji (as confirmed by Millski).

There is still one intermittent small problem on the slider which I'm still trying to debug now before release. It's very minor but I just want to get this out. The speed has improved quite a bit ( at least tested on Xanny and Energy ROMs ).

Here is a quick summary of the v2.82 improvements.

1. Completely fixed the vertical scrolling where you accidentally triggered the default clock scroll which is causing sometimes your screen not align properly when you scroll it back down.

2. Appointments is now tied to the manila appointments loading. So, no delay and missed capturing of appointments update. ( Activesynch will delay loading regardless but that is by default )

3. Original default landscape tab will also appear when your "Hide Tab" setting is either ON or OFF as long as you are in Normal screen mode. So, you can use the original landscape tab in normal screen.

4. Removed the stupid animation of the weather on home screen when going back fm landscape to portrait.

5. Clock array selection removed from top center and now moved to the setting screen.

6. Top right in normal screen can now be edited to point to any other apps like the bottom right in fullscreen mode. By default, it will still point to battery info.

7. Fixed screen alignment when manila suddenly turned back to portrait during landscape when you activate other apps like the phone.

8. Added taskbar indicators for fullscreen mode.
- Sound Profile : press will navigate to sound profile setting
- Data Connection + Signal Strength : press will navigate to communication manager

9. Added BG4all wallpaper rotate animation

Hah.....can't believe this. I have trying to debug the slider problem since the weekend but could not nail it down. But, a sudden surge of inspiration seems to come and I've got it resolved in 10mins.

I have not have time to change any graphics. Also, have not added the signal indicator for different network connection type ( just showing red "X" for no connection and green "O" for connected). Do you want to wait for a graphical updates or just release as it is for this version?

In addition, I have a new full rotation animation for the BG4all when rotated but it's still not polished yet. Do you want to wait for this or release in next version?

Unless I just had bad luck, I could not get 2.8 to run on Rootlinux's or ahuskins' 2.5 ROMS. 2.7 works great and they have versions available with 2.7 cooked in. Some installed, some with the option to install (the cabs are cooked in, but not run. Your choice.)
